Val + Kenny - Hood River Wedding

In July, Val and Kenny had their wedding in Hood River among the pear trees at The Orchard. We had the opportunity to style their day, from flowers to tables and signage and everything in between!

It was a hot summer day and I was so lucky to have the most incredible array of flowers to choose from, all so incredibly fresh from our farmers so they withstood the heat. We chose Echinacea, Dahlias, Garden Roses and Sweet Peas as our main inspiration for building out arrangements and bouquets.

Our focus was minimal, and colorful but also earthy, focusing on simple tables to facilitate the large family-style dinner. We chose pears to line the table numbers to invite the environment into the design, and avocado-dyed cheesecloth for table runners on the barn tables.
